AutoCAD 2014 Compatibility [03-27-2013]
All of our current releases will work on 2014, including ToolPac 14.0, XL2CAD 6.1, WD2CAD 2.2 and MapWorks 4.0.  Because of changes in security in 2014, users who have these products already installed will need to see the support page.

Users of older versions will require an upgrade to run with this version of AutoCAD.

ToolPac 14.0 Released [10-03-2011]

We have several tools that interact with Microsoft Office in different ways and potential users can get confused on which they need.

Notes:

1. All results are native geometry (lines, mtext, etc) and do not suffer the limitations of OLE.
2. Recipients of your drawings created with our tools do not need our application installed.

Word2DWG 2.1 Released [07-28-2010]
DotSoft has developed a revolutionary new way to solve the problem of placing Word documents into CAD applications. The result is Word2DWG. We moved all the processing code inside Microsoft Word, directly creating a DWG (or DXF) file. You simply click an icon to create the DWG file. As changes are made, the DWG files are updated when the document is saved or closed!

Excel2DWG 5.2 Released [07-28-2010]
This release brings several improvements.  First we added backward compatibility with older versions of Excel (back to 2000) and the abilility to create older drawing files (2000 format). We also added the ability to 'Color By Layer' all objects (fills, lines, and text) so that the colors can be controlled by changing the color assigned to the layers. Several other improvements including faster generation of drawings and more.

No VBA in Use, Fully 64bit Compatible [06-10-2010]

X	VBA		We saw the writing on the wall with AutoCAD 2008 64bit and began porting all of our VBA code to the Managed .NET API.  Autodesk has recently announced that VBA will be discontinued in a future version (2012?) of AutoCAD.  Our current releases contain absolutely no AutoCAD VBA code so you don't have to worry about the future of our add-ons.
√	64bit		To make our products fully 64bit compatible, we also removed all 32bit windows dependencies.  When you install our software, absolutely nothing is placed in the Windows\Systems folders; all code resides in the application folder.  It's so independent and versatile that (provided you have the licenses) it can actually be copied to other machines.

XL2CAD 6.0 Released [05-25-2010]
DotSoft once again raises the bar on spreadsheet importing.  We've added support for Excel 2010 (including the new 64bit version), the ability to lock individual tables, link auditing, and more.  The Professional version now includes drawing catalog generation, 3dSolid export and improvements in Layer Import/Report, etc.

MapWorks 3.0 Released [01-11-2010]
We are happy to announce the next release of MapWorks.  With this version the product moves from a loose collection of utilities to a complete multiple module system.  Enhancements were made to all existing modules and the Sections module was introduced.  If you're familiar with MapWorks you use this link to find what's new.

Requires AutoCAD, Land Desktop or Civil3D 2007 or higher.

PDF2DWG 2.1 Released [10-05-2009]
We have combined our second generation PDF reading capabilities with the ability to write directly to a DWG or DXF file (no CAD required).  Even includes command line options for batch processing!  All the details on the PDF2DWG page.

Word2CAD 2.0 Released [05-25-2009]
This release brings speed and refinements to the core functionality as well as additional bonus tools to automate your AutoCAD to Word connectivity.  Fully compatible with the new AutoCAD 2010, including a ribbon interface.  All the details on the Word2CAD page.

PdfImport 2.0 for AutoCAD [03-14-2009]
PdfImport has been completely rewritten with 64bit compatibility, faster preview, better support for embedded images, fills, lineweights and text along with increased stability.

New Pro version functionality includes PDF Manager which allows the user to assemble drawing books from multiple PDF or image files (with order control), export pages, images and text. Also create layouts in the current drawing from pages in a PDF or batch export a DWG file for each page in multiple PDF files.

In 1988 we sold our first software product.  After twenty years we are proud to say we have increased the productivity of thousands of designers.  We look forward to the future to expand on our accomplishments using the experience we've gained.
