Featureline - Find point for a given grade

We need a tool that will find the length required to achieve the grade input by the User from a given point on a featureline that consists of segments of different grades, and set a new point at that location on the featureline.

In the image below the User needs to find where a 12% grade can be achieved up on the featureline from the first point.

This is especially useful for Civil rehab work such as road, gutter and ADA sidewalk replacement projects.
