There are numerous new significant functions in ToolPac 8.0, along with many improvements to existing tools.

| Purge: | Aggressively purges multiple selected drawings, more rigorous than AutoCAD purge. Certain aspects of AutoCAD (such as anonymous groups, layer filters/states, etc.) can cause a drawing to grow to many times its normal size. Also corrects problems that can affect normal drawing open, like blank block errors. 
Note: Saves drawings back to a 2000 format on 2000/2000i/2002, and in 2004 format on 2004/2005. |
| Block Data Extract: | Extracts block counts and attributes from multiple selected drawings. A single click copies the results into the windows clipboard ready to paste into spreadsheets or databases.

| Table Extract: | Extracts symbol table information (layer, blocks, etc) from multiple selected drawings with report and clipboard options.

| Catalog Generator: | Creates a ready to print html document of selected drawings with thumbnails and optional details. The file created can easily be inserted into Microsoft Office products.

| Find & Replace: | Quite possibly the most powerful AutoCAD tool ever produced! It allows you to find & replace across multiple selected drawings. Specify multiple parameters to be considered found, and multiple values to replace. A simple to use dialog makes it easy to set up. Take the example in the graphic, the assignment tells it to find all circles having a radius between 0.69 and 0.71, then change its radius, color, layer and linetype. Numerous uses including applying layer standards, find & replace text strings, change objects to different layers based on types, etc.

| Copy Multiple: | Copies selected attributes from multiple inserts to adjacent inserts with fuzz parameter.

| Boundary Multiple: | Automates Boundary command by picking multiple points on grid with interval. Very useful for generating multiple polylines in an area where linear linework (line, arc, etc) comes to together or crosses. |

| Set Current: | Quickly sets the default hatch variables by picking an existing hatch. |

| Image Editor: | Provides a built in multi function image editor for AutoCAD. No other raster software needed. Quick access by simply picking the image in the drawing, no need to find the file. 
- Supports JPG, BMP, PNG, PSD, TIF, PCX, and TGA files.
- Draw lines, rectangles, polylines, ellipses on rasters.
- Flood fill areas by picking.
- Erase areas or autocrop (eliminates outermost whitespace).
- Rotate or resize images.

| Fax Pages: | Extracts and inserts selected pages from multi-page tiffs such as faxes. No other software needed, just select your multi-page tiff and it drops the pages in the drawing as separate files.

| Batch Process: | Provides options to scale, rotate, and convert formats on multiple image files. For example, converting from most formats to PNG can save file space with no loss of image quality.

| LinkBrowse: | Displays a thumbnail of linked images in a resizable preview window as you move the crosshair over objects (such as polyline house outlines). Works with our Document Linking (available since ToolPac 4.0).

| Catalog Generator: | Generates a ready to print html document of selected images with thumbnail and related details.
