There are 100 new functions in ToolPac 6.0, along with dozens of other improvements to existing tools.

| LiveText: | Assigns expressions to annotation objects that update on events such as regen, start of plot, etc. Extended capabilities such as pulling cells from excel spreadsheet to title block attributes, etc. Plot stamping is only the beginning. Includes support for a huge collection of expressions, far beyond DIESEL.

| Improvements: | A significant number of improvements were added to the Symbol Manager. Dialog Examples: [Main Dialog] [Graphic Select] - Make Symbol Slides improved with dialog interface, added marker option which places * marker at the symbol insertion point (in the slide only).
- Work with multiple symbol databases and choose between with a quick popdown menu. Answers the user requested group/subgroup option.
- Create a new symbol database from the details dialog.
- Repeat mode allows continual rapid placement.
- Masking to optionally trim around symbol, or place a 2DSolid, Wipeout, or MaskImg around symbols bounding box. Includes toggle to bind symbol/mask with anonymous group.
- Toggle for ortho status during insert. Makes it easy to insert in multiples of 90 degrees.
- Field for osnap value for each definition to be set during insertion.
- Optionally rotate attributes back to horizontal after insert, regardless of angle.
- Fields for lsp/vba code to be executed, one before the insert, another after.
- Scale per current paper space viewport, supporting Dimscale=0.
- Go from graphic select dialog straight to insertion.
- Change database and groups from graphic select, and choose item from list.
- Jump from details dialog to graphic select and back. Remembers which dialog used last.
- Ability to set database, group, and initial dialog from users menu code.
- Save Defaults button storing the initial values of all common symbol fields.
- Toggles and settings stored on a ‘per-record’ basis, making the insertions characteristics of each symbol different as needed.
