For Hydrology studies we need a better Water Drop than C3D currently has, that doesn’t get stuck in every nook and cranny of an offsite LIDAR surface that we use to determine the flow path coming down to our Development.
It has no tolerance setting.
We need a tolerance setting that could be set to fly over and not stop at anything less than 1’, 2’, even 5’ deep.
It also would be helpful to have a Downhill/Uphill setting. Typically we want to see the flow path coming down to our design point of interest at the bottom of the hill. C3D makes you guess and have to do many trials before you successfully find a path near your design point by only going downhill.
So if it had an Uphill setting we could pick at our design point and watch the flow path be created in the Uphill direction.
