Figure Grade Elevations

Apply various grade methods to any portion of a single figure. Still in early development, the plan is to add various options, some will be stubs in the initial build. Any thoughts on other options reply here.

This tool looks like it has the potential to do what I was requesting but needs to be taken a bit further. I've attached a screenshot which hopefully is self explanatory

Have you tried using the tool with the Plane option, when prompted for the plane start, pick the rightmost A corner (which should already be at 100.0, then go up and right parallel to the centerline and pick one of two points which look to be at the same offset off center. Then specify your slope as negative 1% ?

Doesn't quite work as I'd expected....

I think it may be because Gizmo is expecting Start and End Points of a Survey figure - I have no idea where the start and end points of my featureline are as I want the whole feature to be considered.

I specified Enter for start and Enter for Last and it threw an exception - seems to be some issues with the way it's interpreting the featureline??

The term Figure was used a long time before Civil3D used it as Survey Figures and the Figure tools in Gizmo3D are for any supported figure which can include 3dPolylines, etc. If you send me a drawing I will be able to test, debug and work up a set of instructions. Looking at JPGs has severe limitations to say the least.

Well we should have tested on a closed figure, that was the problem. When you run Check for Updates in the morning, follow this procedure.

1) Set the surface to no display so you can pick FeatureLine?
2) Start the Figure Grade Elevations tool.
3) Select the FeatureLine (anywhere).
4) Enter P for Plane (if it's not already the default).
5) Press enter to use the figure beginning.
6) Press enter to use the figure ending.
7) Pick the plane start point (X=369795.789 Y=667605.239 Z=343.290)
8) Pick the plane direction point (X=369793.138 Y=667457.263 Z=343.290)
9) Enter the desired percent slope (-1.0) ?
