Linked Offsets - Feature Line Style

Postby Lincoln » Thu Jun 18, 2015 6:38 pm

When I change the style of the control feature line, all the others change with it. We need the control line to be able to be different, as in a gutter flow line style.

The dependent feature lines are not updating. If I open and save the control line they will update. Dynamic updates on.

Previously, when the update was occurring, the offsets were acquiring the properties of the primary figure. We added code to preserve the color, layer, linetype and FL.StyleId properties (coming in the next build). The offsets should update anytime the primary figure changes. For example grip editing and commands like AeccInsertFeaturePI.

When modeling curb and gutter, using one interior point throws off the constant elevation differential required between gutter flowline and edge of the gutter pan.

We need all the transitioning to happen just through the corner.

Can you add a setting that specifies the distance to add points to the control line at the red X's shown below? This distance will typically be about 3 feet or so.
