Re: Pond Design - Volume Too Small?

We relaxed the minimum to Area x 1.0. Run 'Check for Updates' and try it, use 100.0 for your initial offset, it needs to be very large (see help for details).

Re: Pond Design - Volume Too Small?

The tool needs a minimum to generate the first level (contour). It currently multiplies the figure area by the max of (figure height or 1.0) to determine this. You are welcome to email the starting drawing, we may need to relax the minimum.

Also include a screen capture of the dialog (parameters).

Re: Pipe Quick Edit

We're changing the logic to a single overall slope . It's less confusing, after all you don't have two separate labels showing upstream, downstream slopes and water only flows one way! We have added the end being held to the prompts for confirmation. As far as updates, we're committing the transacti...

Re: Pipe Quick Edit

I can't reproduce problem (1), which is BEFORE you pick. I placed a featureline adjacent to the pipe with the same elevations and used it's quick edit hoving. From what I see it shows the same labels the same way (except our graphics are easier to see on a white background). Also press F1 to review ...

Point Leader Commands

Automatically extends the labels of a selection set of CogoPoints. The displacement method moves labels of selected points away at the angle and distance you designate. The radial method stretches the leader out to a designated radius.

Re: Pipe Quick Edit

We added a pass thru when hovering so it ignores labels and other geometry, we like this revision. However on the actual selection we can only limit what is acceptable and it currently requires care to actually pick the pipe (or ProfilePart). Let us know if this is a problem, we may be able to find ...

Re: Pipe Quick Edit

So when changing the pipe, if the new ends fall outside the range of the begin/end structures, simply raise the rim or lower the sump? I notice that if you right-click edit, Civil3D does this. If we do this, there shouldn't be an issue of the other connected pipes, causing a cascading problem?

Re: Pipe Quick Edit

Okay would there be any consideration for structures, if you hover over them?

Pipe Quick Edit

This new tool is still in the prototyping stage.

Command: PipQuiEdt

The original thoughts involved a floating palette for editing, but based on feedback so far we will instead try to mimic the behavior of AeccQuickEditFeatureElevs, including the temporary graphics.
